I can&#8217;t help it, it&#8217;s in my nature. I want to tear everything down, and rebuild it, re-appropriate it. I want to shroud us in the remnants of a beautiful chaos.&#8221; These were the words sat before us when we entered the Matthew a Miller show. But re-appropriating doesn&#8217;t mean playing it safe. Re-imagining fabrics usually only associated with furniture, Miller gave these threads a new purpose.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s his first stand alone show without NewGen sponsorship and Miller chose to send both men and women down the catwalk. Wearing a series of clashing mis-matched textures in a colour palette that spanned from grey, to indigo, to red and navy blue. Details on tailoring were minimal, whilst wools and canvas fabrics were slashed, spliced and shredded.
