Eventually he would team up with his brothers Ian and James &#8211; to form The Felice Brothers, to much success and critical acclaim before forming and leading another band &#8211; &#8216;The Duke &amp; The King&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Simone is a published author, whose words and music have been a ticket to destinations worldwide &#8211; from readings of his poetry, personal invites from Rick Rubin to play drums in LA, and touring his songwriting across Europe and beyond. He&#8217;s currently in the UK &#8211; playing a string of intimate, absorbing and largely acoustic performances of tracks featured in his latest, very well received &#8216;Strangers LP&#8217;, amongst many more from previous releases.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Wonderland met Simone at St Pancras Old Church, during soundcheck for his sold-out show. The sound of Felice&#8217;s vocals reverberating off the old church walls alongside the open-face piano was too good not to record.
