MK, Lee Foss and Anabel Englund come together as Pleasure State to release new single and EP ‘Ghost In The System’.

"Pleasure

With their combined experience as producers, DJs and singer-songwriters, this slick track combines all of Pleasure’s State skills into a confident collaboration with vocals to chill your bones and bass to pump your blood. As electronic dance music continues to reign at the top of the charts, it’s no doubt you’ve already heard Anabel’s voice pretty much everywhere this year, from the sweaty basement clubs of London, to the super-glam beach parties of Ibiza and the shores of Croatia.

Having all enjoyed solo success, the three musicians form what can only be described as a house supergroup – one we’re all desperate to be part of. The track is saturated in an almost tangible style, with a sincere yet sinister vibe to it. Unlike most of the tired, over-produced electronica currently available, ‘Ghost In The System’ feels raw, and that’s because it is. The video serves a minimalist, dark and atmospheric aesthetic, with Anabel’s intoxicating voice and oh-so-sultry stare taking centre-stage.

The EP is to be released on out on Jamie Jones’ and Lee Foss’ label Hot Creations, this December 1st and the EP will also feature a hip-hop influenced dance record ’Subject Matter’ and a 12 minute remix of ‘Electricity’ from Detroit techno legend and Grammy award winner, Carl Craig.
