By reimagining each of these genres in their own unique way, the sound they produce creates the odd elusive feeling of remembering a track, without quite knowing it at all.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EsHqhZ16oSc\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s no surprise that they\u2019ve sparked comparisons to the likes of M.I.A., Grimes, The Knife and Erykah Badu and whilst Marine cites soulful hip-hop as inspiration, Lucas prefers noise rock \u2013 making the task of defining their fully immersive genre pretty damn hard.<\/p>\n<p>The video which accompanies their stripped out synth sounds and dark echoing hip-hop beats illustrates Marine\u2019s journey through the night, drawing us to a surreal scape, employing an eye-brow raising take on modern feminism.\u00a0Taken from their forthcoming album Blahblahrians, this is just one example of Erotic Market\u2019s ability to defy-genre classification, carving themselves a path away
