Welcome to the Chanel shopping centre, the Grand Palais completely re-imagined. The team at Chanel covered everything from Chanel &#8216;Coco&#8217; Pops to chainsaws every single detail was considered, security guards had to stop the audience helping themselves.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Chanel-RF14-0014-e1394121924161.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-28112 aligncenter\" alt=\"Chanel RF14 0014\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Chanel-RF14-0014-e1394121924161.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It was difficult to remember this was a fashion show and the real reason you&#8217;re there is the clothes, but Karl made sure we remembered. His opening look, Cara in a holey pink crop and leggings, a la destroyed Juicy Couture. There was a humorous feel the collection from the crops, which waver away from Chanel&#8217;s older clientele, to the accessories, amazing shopping baskets with Chanel chain, meat wrapped bags and quilted granny shoppers. Like an epic celebration (or dig at?) of consumerism.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2014\/03\/chanel-aw14-011_CA-e1394121862819.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-28106 aligncenter\" alt=\"chanel-aw14-011_CA\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2014\/03\/chanel-aw14-011_CA-e1394121862819.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Where Karl caused a stir at couture, all his models wearing trainers he continued that here. From sneaker boots to basic runners Chanel seem to have created the must have trainer for next season. From there he worked his way up with an energetic, sporty collection of seperates with oversize coats thrown over. There were classic Chanel tweed and boucle for their older customer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Chanel-RF14-0075-e1394121911439.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-28111 aligncenter\" alt=\"Chanel RF14 0075\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Chanel-RF14-0075-e1394121911439.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Colours were influenced by fruit and veg and spices; betroot pink, carrot orange, salad green, egg shell, mustard and saffron yellow. Models swerved in an out of the aisles (including Kendall Jenner, swoon) doing a spot of shopping. The silhouette was corseted (referncing the couture collection) with large shoulder and a range of mid and longer lengths, nothing shorter here, the midriff seemed the focus of most looks not the legs. Textiles included classic Chanel thick tweeds and knits, lam\u00e9s and plastic coated materials as well as lace, pleated silk, organza and chiffon. I doubt most women who wear Chanel do their own grocery shopping but there goes your excuse to sport your onesie to Tesco.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Chanel-RF14-0178-e1394121961219.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-28115 aligncenter\" alt=\"Chanel
