Miu Miu announce the newest addition to their acclaimed short-film series by women who critically celebrate femininity. “Spark and Light” stars Riley Keough as Elizabeth, a young girl on her way to visit her hospitalised mother when her car slides of the road, whilst waiting for help Elizabeth falls asleep and we follow her as she dreams.<\/p>\n

It’s the seventh commission from Miu Miu Women\u2019s Tales and is redolent of So Yong Kim\u2019s previous features\u2014such as For Ellen, Treeless Mountain and In Between Days. \u00a0Kim explores themes of family and the transition from childhood to adulthood,\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve always been obsessed with family dynamics,\u201d says the Korean born American writer and director, \u201cI\u2019m always trying to develop my understanding of that.\u201d
