MARTENS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Northern babe Agyness Deyn lauches her third collection for Dr. Martens. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Picture-133.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"Picture 13\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Picture-133-e1382630203831.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Agyness once again teams up with iconic brand Dr. Martens to create her third collection of womenswear this Autumn. British tailoring fabrics, including houndstooth and herringbone patterns, influence the collection and Deyn even embeds English culture a bit further with her own twist of a symbolic teapot. There is a dress appropriately named, \u201cTea Dress\u201d which is covered in a blue and cream pattern featuring the aforementioned herringbone, houndstooth and teapot motif. The footwear embrace Agyness\u2019 own mod style with a classic desert boot, two-tone lace up shoe and a two-tone Mary Jane heeled sandal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Picture-44-e1382630334864.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"Picture 4\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Picture-44-e1382630334864.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The visuals for the collaboration include a behind-the-scenes look at the relationship between the brain, Agyness and the brand, Dr. Martens and her involvement on the entire process. The campaign is shot on her muse, Grace, seaside in Brighton.\u00a0 The individualist collection is available this month in Dr. Martens stores worldwide. <a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Picture-112.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Picture-93.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"Picture 9\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Picture-93-e1382630269747.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We caught up with our favourite blonde muso Agyness Deyn to speak about her latest collection:<\/p>\n<p><strong>WONDERLAND: Hi Agyness! So tell us how did the Dr Martens collaboration come about?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AGYNESS: I was thinking about a pair of Docs that I couldn&#8217;t find or buy and thought, I&#8217;m gonna ask them if I can make them!<\/p>\n<p><strong>How is this collection different to the previous ones?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Season 1 we focused on lots of key separatest that could be layered together so there wasn&#8217;t necessarily a &#8216;signature&#8217; that ran through each style. Last season we used my eyeball as a key pattern throughout and made the silhouettes more flirtatious. We have kept an iconic pattern this time around, a tea pot, which is used on both shoes and on the clothing. This is a winter collection though, so we have a lot of practical differences more long sleeves, closed toes and the colour palette is darker.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tea Pots seem to be a running theme throughout the collection, are you a big tea lover?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well, I think that tea is very quintessentially English and since our initial inspiration came from late 60&#8217;s Mod babes, also quite English, the Tea Pot fit perfectly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s your fave item from the new collection?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I love the jumper, but I also like the wool dress with the jacket and the cap and the shoes!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/10\/AGYNESS-DEYN-FOR-DR-MARTENS-SAMMY-CAP-e1382626512996.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24726 alignleft\" alt=\"AGYNESS DEYN FOR DR MARTENS SAMMY CAP\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/10\/AGYNESS-DEYN-FOR-DR-MARTENS-SAMMY-CAP-e1382626512996.jpg\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/10\/DM-CLOTHING-5_01_GCO_f-e1382626491128.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24725 alignleft\" alt=\"DM CLOTHING 5_01_GCO_f\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/10\/DM-CLOTHING-5_01_GCO_f-e1382626491128.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Did you have any particular women in mind when designing this range?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t design with one woman in mind, I design for girls and women who prize individuality and who have something to say for themselves. Like all Dr. Martens wearas I think the kind of hte person who is into my collection stands for something.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This season you had another model in the campaign, why did you choose not the model the collection yourself?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It felt right to have the focus be more on the clothes and a new face. I fell in love with Grace, she&#8217;s such a good hearted free spirit with amazing energy. I had to have her do the campaign!<\/p>\n<p><strong> What is your plan for the next 5 year?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To learn and grown. My 5 year plan is hush hush, but I&#8217;ve always been a fan of the &#8216;Go big or go home&#8217; mantra.
