Today\u00a0Julia catches up with James Long to talk about his womenswear collection.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23360\" alt=\"ucz0TKbOoOz4B5Dqq7is-PNpC2PXozBxuCDRSPVMz5A\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/09\/ucz0TKbOoOz4B5Dqq7is-PNpC2PXozBxuCDRSPVMz5A-e1379348513511.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;They&#8217;re only clothes&#8217;, James Long rather modestly said to me not so long ago on the verge of his last menswear collection. &#8216;But what clothes!&#8217; I thought to myself as I left his studio. There&#8217;s always a lot of intricate detail in the house of Long, a glorious concoction intertwined with ribbon, colour and shape. Texture on texture, Long never disappoints, with an exacting eye he shows me the cut of a skirt, the way the fabric lends itself to form the clothes we want to wear. Oh and by the way did I mention the new sunglasses. They&#8217;ve collaborated with Culter and Gross for some spectacular specs, want, need, want!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"2-pHfO4PqT-PchvrP377Z8q5qOdNgUTr721N7wiYN6A\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/09\/2-pHfO4PqT-PchvrP377Z8q5qOdNgUTr721N7wiYN6A-e1379348461809.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23348\" alt=\"9lWF88HEC2DRmjiC92i5DBgNVeSR6-KEMC8XUJTad7E\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/09\/9lWF88HEC2DRmjiC92i5DBgNVeSR6-KEMC8XUJTad7E-e1379348353763.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pushing the proverbial envelope, instead of a womenswear catwalk show or installation this season, they will be opening the doors to their salon for exclusive presentations,\u00a0 &#8216;We&#8217;re interested in traveling, reaching out, and showing the rest of the world what we&#8217;re all about&#8217;. They plan trips to Dubai, Japan and Paris&#8230; so you better watch out, James Long is coming to a city near you!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone
