Meet the new house producer on the block, Dismantle – a man who knows how to raise a twerk or two.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>One weekend this summer, <em>Wonderland <\/em>journeyed, Negroni in clasp, into the deepest plungepools of Stockholm with one of the UK’s most exciting house producers, Dismantle. We were there to celebrate the Brighton-born fazer twiddler’s new collaboration with men’s streetwear label, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boxfresh.co.uk\/\">Boxfresh<\/a>, who aim to “uncover the world’s underground party scenes.” Before dawn just after plane touched tar, we found ourselves on an outer city ringroad to disco central – AKA the first in a series of brand awareness-raising raves across Europe called Before Monday Comes, which Dismantle will soundtrack. Ahead of the next show – happening, kinda ironically, this Monday at Newquay’s Fistral Beach Bar – we sat him down for a Q+A. The Berocca did flow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tell us about Before Monday Comes. Do you ever “see” Mondays?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It means work, really. Because I DJ most of the time on Fridays and Saturdays – and sometimes have mid-week gigs – but I always see Monday as, “it\u2019s a new week”. Obviously the weekend\u2019s there so I DJ and party, and Monday is the start of a new week that will bring new things.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What’s your favourite city for clubbing?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brighton – Audio\u2019s my favourite club. To play at, I\u2019d say Fabric, Fabric is always really good. The people that work there – Sean and Dave – I\u2019m good mates with. The vibe at Fabric is always jokes; people who live in London always go to Fabric. The Warehouse Project is also a really good one, The Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, too.<\/p>\n<p>London is my favourite city in general, I\u2019d say. I live in Brighton, but I\u2019m in London a lot, whenever I come up I end up staying for quite a bit. I used to hate it when I first came, I love the things I used to hate, like how it\u2019s so busy\u2026 Manchester\u2019s really cool. Every city\u2019s good in its own way. Shit cities are Birmingham… to be honest I don\u2019t like the Midlands at all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As you may have guessed – the six o’clock shadow, the bloodshot eyes – <em>Wonderland<\/em> needs a summer holiday. Where are you taking us?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Bahamas – I really want to go to the Bahamas and just chill out. I\u2019m going to Australia at the end of the year.
