{"id":20408,"date":"2013-06-17T18:18:11","date_gmt":"2013-06-17T18:18:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wonderlandmagazine.com\/?p=20408"},"modified":"2013-06-18T12:54:12","modified_gmt":"2013-06-18T12:54:12","slug":"london-collections-backstage-at-agi-sam-ss14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wonderlandmagazine.com\/2013\/06\/17\/london-collections-backstage-at-agi-sam-ss14\/","title":{"rendered":"London Collections:  Backstage at Agi &#038; Sam SS14"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"\/tag\/agi-sam\/\">Agi &amp; Sam<\/a> returned to <a href=\"\/tag\/london-collections\">LC:M<\/a> fresh off the back of the owl-themed collaboration with <a href=\"\/tag\/topman\">Topman<\/a>, in a show that\u2019s just as fabulously inventive.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/2013\/06\/london-collections-backstage-at-agi-sam-ss14\/agi-and-sam-ss14-backstage-wonderland-41\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-20411\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20411\" alt=\"Agi &amp; Sam Spring\/Summer 2014 Backstage\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Agi-and-Sam-SS14-Backstage-Wonderland-41-e1371486967600.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>MAN veterans <a href=\"\/tag\/agi-sam\/\">Agi &amp; Sam<\/a> provided a master class in prints and colour blocking, in a show that got everyone chatting for all the right reasons (digital print! Colour! Pleating!) at the close of play at <a href=\"\/tag\/london-collections\">London Collections<\/a> on Sunday. The pair riffed on the idea of an old man looking out of his window and marvelling at the way kids dress on the bus and train, and this manifested as a bus-bench print (in the heart of the ridiculous the sublime and all that).<\/p>\n<p>Special mention has to go to the Morse code print suits. In the same way that last season was all about owl print, <a href=\"\/tag\/ss14\">SS14<\/a> was pure Aztec, bold and bright brilliance for <a href=\"\/tag\/agi-sam\/\">Agi &amp; Sam<\/a>. Sportswear, as seen earlier in the day, at, er, just about everywhere was also a definite influence, proving that the kids can do the big trends as well as the seasoned designers. An honorary shout out for the pair wearing the brand\u2019s recent Topman collaboration and a pair of giant owl masks, too. Drawing influence from <a href=\"\/tag\/craig-green\">Craig Green<\/a>\u2019s cardboard sculptures, perhaps?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/2013\/06\/london-collections-backstage-at-agi-sam-ss14\/agi-and-sam-ss14-backstage-wonderland-36\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-20415\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20415 alignnone\" alt=\"Agi &amp;
