Now, we might be a long way off from the tropical climate of Singapore, but that doesn&#8217;t mean you can&#8217;t take some direction from Karl&#8217;s latest collection.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Chanel-Collection-Make-up-Trends.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Chanel-Collection-Make-up-Trends-e1368193949526.jpg\" alt=\"Chanel Collection Make-up Trends\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18773\" \/><\/a><\/centeR><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Do the flick<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The turquoise flick, that is. All the models in the show (minus the boys, of course) sported a lick of electric blue eyeliner underneath the eye, combined with a bold black liner on the top. Keep the rest of the face powdered and fresh to compliment the look.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Chanel-Cruise-Collection-Monochrome-Trend.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Chanel-Cruise-Collection-Monochrome-Trend-e1368193909300.jpg\" alt=\"Chanel Cruise Collection Monochrome Trend\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18772\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Monochrome, monochrome, monochrome<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve mentioned this before in our <a href=\"\/2013\/02\/7-wonders-springsummer-2013-trends\/\">spring\/summer trends round-up<\/a> and we&#8217;ll say it again: shove the big, bold prints of yesteryear to the back of your wardrobe and pare it down to the only two colours that matter this season. Lagerfeld&#8217;s signature colours have never looked more appealing.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Chanel-Cruise-Collection-Androgyny.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Chanel-Cruise-Collection-Androgyny-e1368193147775.jpg\" alt=\"Chanel Cruise Collection Androgyny\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18769\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Get androgynous<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The single earring adorning most of the models&#8217; ears; the slick, side-swept fringe and scraped-back hair &#8211; it all seemed to pay tribute to (whisper it) punk, specifically of the poshed-up <a href=\"\/tag\/met-gala-2013\">Met Gala<\/a> pedigree. But more than that, those details speak to the casual androgyny and masculine tailoring that Coco herself loved. So if you&#8217;ve lost an earring this week, just wear its lonesome sibling on its own &#8211; after all, Karl says it&#8217;s okay.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Chanel-Cruise-Collection-Loose-e1368193222357.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Chanel-Cruise-Collection-Loose-e1368194151122.jpg\" alt=\"Chanel Cruise Collection Loose\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18771\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Think easy, breezy, beautiful<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Appropriately for sweltering humidity of subtropical Singapore, soft and loose shapes dominated the collection, a key silhouette of the collection being a high-waisted, wide-leg trouser worn with what was basically an oversized tunic tops. Obviously reworked for luxe purposes in materials like white leather, of course. Plain and simple &#8211; what could be easier?<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Chanel-Cruise-Collection-Cricket-Bat.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/media.wonderlandmagazine.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Chanel-Cruise-Collection-Cricket-Bat-e1368193256221.jpg\" alt=\"Chanel Cruise Collection Cricket Bat\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18770\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Dig out a cricket bat<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If everything else fails, wield a bat and make like an Ashes boy. And if anybody doesn&#8217;t believe that this is a trend in the making, you can whack them over the head.
