Until then, here\u2019s the topline bits everyone needs to know about our girl Tay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. She likes M.I.A.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2uYs0gJD-LE\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Bad Girls&#8217;<\/a> was the first track she whacked on the stereo for the Wonderland cover shoot. Other surprises from Taylor\u2019s iPod: Muse, Gucci Mane.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. She wasn\u2019t all that sure about &#8216;We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When I wrote <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WA4iX5D9Z64\" target=\"_blank\">[that song]<\/a>, first of all, I thought it was the longest title ever written. I thought, \u201cI don\u2019t know how well this is going to go over.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. She has a lot of feelings. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019ve ever experienced great pain, loss or heartache, you know there are probably about 50 different mini-emotions going on throughout the course of a day. It\u2019s very complex; you\u2019re never feeling just sad. Maybe you wake up and you feel sad, and then you get angry, and you feel like, \u2018I\u2019m fine!\u2019, and then you feel confident, and then you feel a sense of doubt, and then you\u2019re insecure, and then there\u2019s jealousy, and then you\u2019re back to sad \u2013 and then you feel fine again! All in the course of an afternoon if you\u2019re going through something difficult.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. She DID NOT buy a house in London just to be close to Harry Styles. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I go out in public or go to the grocery store, if someone asks me about something then I know it\u2019s a big deal. If the check-out cashier says \u2018I heard you bought a house in England,\u2019 I\u2019ll be like, \u2018no, I didn\u2019t.\u2019 And they\u2019ll be like \u2018well it said it when I checked my email this morning.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Despite being the only popstar to make a hit with the phrase \u201clike, ever\u201d, she wants to tighten up her syntax. (Well, kind of).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m trying to say \u2018like\u2019 less&#8230; It makes me sound like I\u2019m seventeen. [But] I only just decided that five minutes ago. It\u2019s not a thing I\u2019m actively doing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. She is not dating a cowboy (as predicted <a href=\"http:\/\/metronews.ca\/features\/2013-whats-in-store\/488929\/psychic-predictions-for-2013-gaze-deep-into-our-crystal-ball\/\">here<\/a>), or a foreign stranger, (as predicted <a href=\"http:\/\/uk.reuters.com\/video\/2013\/02\/01\/celebrity-predictions-for-the-year-of-th?videoId=240898987\">here<\/a>).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll be interested to see how it all plays out. [But] so far, none of that has happened.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. She doesn\u2019t know what the hell she\u2019s doing, and doesn\u2019t mind.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, I\u2019ve kind of realised that I have no idea where I\u2019m going to be next year, or in six months, or in two months. I mean, I know where I\u2019ll be on tour in two months, but no idea where I\u2019m going to be mentally, emotionally, dreams, goals, wishes, hopes. I have no idea if I\u2019m going to get married or be single forever or have a family or just be on my own. You know, paint in a cottage by the ocean by myself.
