The duo was handpicked by Miuccia Prada to create a series of super-short films to promote the label&#8217;s new Candy L&#8217;Eau parfum, and the result is classic Anderson: irreverent and dryly witty, with every aesthetic detail &#8211; down to the tiny expresso saucers &#8211; imbued with the filmmaker&#8217;s typical charm. According to Miuccia, the films &#8220;encompasses Candy as the most sparkling and unexpected character&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by Jules et Jim and other classic French new wave films, Lea Seydoux plays Candy, a girl caught in a romantic tussle between two boys called Julius and Jim &#8211; except she&#8217;s too busy stuffing her face with popcorn and acting adorable to even notice.
