With all eyes on Brazil this summer, in collaboration with Sepp, the original football fashion magazine, Yoox.com have commissioned ten designers to each create a sweatshirt in celebration of the forthcoming world cup.

The capsule collection sees Opening Ceremony, Barbara Casasola Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Duro Olowu, MSGM, Juum J, Masha Ma, AMI, Damir Doma and Ksubi each take on a country, emblazoning a sweatshirt with an exclusive design evoking the national team that it represents. Dare we say it, this is a rare moment where football meets fashion in the shape of a most covetable package.

From Opening Ceremony’s all-branded Americana offering, to MGSM’s Italian collegiate influenced number, our best pick has to be Barbara Casasola’s minimalistic yellow, blue and green block colour edition. Brazil is the place to be, right?

“A lot of artists think having good ideas is being an artist. I think you can have good ideas and still be a rubbish artist… Being a good artist, to me, is: really attractive stuff,” Perry declares. “I think that one of the terrible handicaps of a lot of contemporary artists is they only make it to look good in galleries.”

With this week’s launch of Art at Yoox.com, anyone can now purchase “really attractive stuff” – fine art, prints and photographed from established names and up-and-comers – without having to doll up for the gallery girls. Perry’s work itself is exclusively on sale, too, albeit scaled down – his tapestry The Vanity Of Small Differences has been transplanted onto a boxed set of table mats.
