Ever wanted to know what happens backstage at a fashion show? Check out ‘Ready To Slip Into The Day’, courtesy of Missoni and director Tim Small, which was filmed during the label’s autumn/winter show. We blogged about it earlier last month, and the full-length video is now up.

Put it this way, though – not all fashion collections are created equal. As in, you’re not likely to find Anna Wintour popping in for a chat at any old Fashion Week show. Maybe she was a fan of the rumpled, undressed vibe at the show – we know we are.

If you’re donning your rabbit onesie or oversized sleep shirt for Red Nose Day, you’re in luck when it comes to style inspiration – Missoni‘s latest collection was an ode to slinky, languorous comfort. In this teaser video for their forthcoming short film, Ready to Slip into the Day, we catch a glimpse of the backstage madness that accompanies even the most refined and relaxed collections.

After all, it’s no longer socially unacceptable to don a silk pyjama set on a night out (no word on whether silk nighties are back in. The 90s revival hasn’t gone that far yet). As Missoni showed, it’s not about dressing up, it’s about looking undressed – hence the soft knit cardigans, casually slipped off one shoulder to reveal a flash of skin, and wet hair slicked back, as if models came fresh out of the shower. But in case that all gets a bit too ‘wilting daisy’ for you, sex things up with colour bursts of acid green and black crochet. After all, you don’t just sleep in a bed, do you?
