Copenhagen-dwelling vocalist Mercedes might have grown up in a hippie commune, but she’s ditched the flower power for wicked, bass-driven beats and a drenching of old school hip-hop. Armed with great hair and a Neneh Cherry-esque voice, she’s been massively hyped since her 90s-tastic video ‘Live In The Speaker‘.

To introduce herself, she’s teamed up with Brad Baloo from DJ party-starters Nextmen for a minimix to rebel yell her way into the world: it’s a mash-up of throwback rap influences, sassy vocals and shake-it rhythms. Enjoy!
