Wonderland presents Memorabilia, Dominic Dorin’s Manchester-inspired nostalgic fashion film, styled by men’s fashion director Andrew Davis.

All quiffs, poses and loaded glances, the boys in Memorabilia are straight out of a heaving, dark underground club scene – which is no surprise, since Dominic Dorin was inspired by the dingy underground nightlife of 80s Manchester. The director tells us more about how he brought his vision to life:

“I sourced short vignettes of each style and compiled them in a series of dreamy montages to reveal a dark, disjointed past. The choice of designers was key to convey this tone. Creative director and stylist Andrew Davis selected bespoke pieces such as the yellow smiley hat by Philip Treacy and balanced it with some New Order-inspired Jil Sander tailored suits, helping to reference a range of realities during this time in Manc-British night life.”

Director: Dominic Dorin
Stylist: Andrew Davis
Art direction: Dima Hohlov
