A promotional shot and a little bit of info was released today regarding the hotly awaited collab between the Swedish high street giants and Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain. The biggest news is  that Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Jourdan Dunn – all personal friends of Rousteing – will be starring in the campaign which is set in a futuristic-urban subway system and photographed by Mario Sorrenti. As you can see in the taster shot below, male models Yun Xiang and Dudley O’Shaughnessy finish off the line up alongside the three supermodels.

The collection will include womenswear, menswear and accessories and will hit stores (as well as online) on the 5th November.

Having just launched their SS15 campaign, starring none other than Brit-icons Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn, this season the focus is balanced between the covetable designs and the classic Burberry make-up looks. Having broadened their beauty outreach tenfold this season with the launch of the My Burberry fragrance, Burberry’s make-up offering is also growing from strength to strength.

Clad in SS15’s floral painted trench coats, with matching Burberry check bags to boot, Dunn and Campbell dazzle us with their radiant skin, sleek lined eyes and bold mascara laden lashes. “This is a classic Burberry Make-up look. It is all about skin with a golden radiance, complimented with a hint of peach,” says Burberry Make-Up Artistic Consultant Wendy Rowe. “Eyes are subtly intensified with kohl around the waterline and lightly into the lashes to accentuate the eye shape. Lips are softly defined in a coral shade creating a warm finish to the overall look.”

Whether you’re buying because you love the design or the celebrity, all the money is going to a worthy cause, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer has raised £13.5 million for Breakthrough Breast Cancer since it’s launch in the UK in 1996. Previous supporters of the campaign include Kate Moss, Mario Testino and Georgia May Jagger.

All we ask is that the winners wear these dresses at all times. Don’t save them for your best occasions, we certainly wouldn’t, whip them out for a trip to the shops, even do the washing-up in them. Look fabulous always and name-drop about the previous owners at every available opportunity.
