We spent most of 2012 replaying ‘Don’t Save Me’, Haim’s blistering anthem to independence – but there’s only so many times we can get away with that before our Spotify history starts to look a bit tragic. Enter Bear’s Den and Joe Banfi, Communion Records labelmates who’ve swapped out Haim’s nostalgic 80s rock for their special blend of sensitive mountain-man folk. What can we say? We’re down for partying with sprightly Californian sisters and stubbly flannel-wearing types alike.
