Featured previously as a Wonderland ‘One to Watch’ for 2015, Brighton based two-piece, Iyes, have released their latest single, “Glow” – and it’s only affirmed our love for them.

On a rainy afternoon in Camden we managed to pin them down for this stripped back and acoustic session. Make sure you get your hands on the new single here.

Josh Christopher and Melis Soyaslonova have been making electro-tinged, melodic pop for a few years now, and next months will see them release their corker of a new single ‘Glow’.
We caught up with the duo to find out who else they think will be making colossal waves throughout the industry in 2015, as well as nabbing an exclusive playlist of their most favourite songs. enjoy.

1) J Tropic –

“This year, J Tropic will be the one to watch in the production world come Summertime. Enjoyed working on the demo of Who U R with him before he transferred it to a super-hit with Alyss. His infectious summer-time melodies and sex music vibes are all on spec for this August; Hearing within the industry that many good things are happening for this dude at the moment… watch this space”.

2) Deaths –

“Deaths are one of the acts we look after on our label at Love by Mistake. He’s one of the greatest creatives we know, being both in the audio and visual world (combining productions with beautiful visuals). Check out the video for piece “Sold”; it’s mesmerising…”.

3) Demob Happy –

“Known these punk loving’ criminals for over 2 years now, and some of the nicest guys in the rock world I know. They’re like a ‘Geordie style Kings of Leon’, if Kings of Leon would man up and play their instruments with no fear. I put on two parties at the Great Escape in Brighton the past 2 years, one for Peace, and one for Superfood and Demob definitely helped tear a new hole in the Brighton music scene”.

4) Royce Wood Junior –

“The man behind some of the great Jamie Woon work, Royce Wood Junior is by far, the greatest producer this era of post-rnb producers has ever seen. I listen to a lot of his work, and it’s beautifully stunning; OCD in places to the point that I have no clue where to start if I were to produce something of similar ilk. Check out for sure, his new single ‘Midnight’ , available on 37 Adventures. Literally the UK’s answer to Pharrell’s Happy; you’ll be singing it for weeks”.

5) Rude –

“This one is a strange one but won’t say much more… Just take a listen”.
