The ‘Kids Again’ singer creates a bespoke Wonderland playlist to propel us into the weekend

King of the dance anthem, Example returns just in time to kickstart summer and infiltrate dance-floors throughout the globe.

Undoubtedly one of the UK’S biggest male artists of the last few years, Example has just unveiled his latest offering ‘Kids Again‘ which is accompanied by a sun-quenched, good-times video to gear us towards the warmer months ahead.  The announcement of his fifth studio album ‘Live Life Living‘  follows on from his #1 platinum selling ‘Playing in the Shadows and ‘Evolution of Man’.

It’s set to be a busy March for the London lad as he’s announced his Ultimate Weekender Tour this week which kicks off next Thursday at London’s KOKO and will visit three cities in 3 days to play a mammoth six gigs.

We sat down with the gent himself as he picked out his Top Ten tracks that are aptly affiliated with youth and surprisingly there isn’t a Robbie & Kylie in sight! Here we go.

1. Guns’n’Roses – Sweet Child ‘O Mine

“One of the greatest riffs ever. Add to that one of the best guitar solos. Also surprisingly, their first and only US No.1 Single.. “

2. Sublime – Cisco Kids

“Sublime were one of my favourite bands in my teen years. This is one of their lesser known songs but I love the story the lyrics tell”

3. Jimi Hendrix – Voodoo Child

“Arguably one of the greatest songs of all time. Hendrix did an 18 minute version of this live at Woodstock”

4. Diana Ross & The Supremes – Love Child

“Singing about an illegitimate child was controversial at the time of release but still managed to knock ‘Hey Jude’ off the top spot. Also their 11th No.1 in the US!’

5. MGMT – Kids

“Couldn’t do this list without including this. What a synth riff ! For me their greatest moment”

6. Vampire Weekend – The Kids Don’t Stand a Chance

“Still surprised to this day that this song did not chart in any country in the whole world! Check out the superb Chromeo remix as well”

7. Deep Purple – Child In Time

Despite being a relatively simplistic composition it is famous for being over 10 minutes long. It is still a brilliant musical journey, especially once you know it’s a protest song about the Vietnam War”

8. Pretenders – Kid

“Quite simply my favourite Pretenders song”

9. The Eagles – New Kid in Town

My favourite track from their ‘Hotel California’ album. Also a US No.1 single”

10. Kim Wilde – Kids in America

“This list wouldn’t be complete without arguably the most famous pop song of all time with “Kids” in the title”

‘Live Life Living’ is released on 23rd June.

‘Kids Again’ will be released on 16th March.

We exclusively reveal the title track from the brand new Ruben Haze EP ‘City Of Dreams’

Ruben Haze is essentially a fabricated character, sketched out as a passion venture from the creative minds of Australian producer Dirty South, aka Dragan Roganovic and vocalist Rudy Sandapa (Let It Go/Phazing).

The Lead track ‘City Of Dreams’ has been pendulously biding its time as a teaser demo and is most well-known in it’s previous form as the similarly titled #1 club-record by Dirty South and Alesso.

The anticipated full-length EP is a live orientated band project with each track seething with gently building string elements alongside ethereal vocals and infectious melodies.

The enigmatic collective are as visually stimulating as they are to hear. Opting to be represented by beautifully executed artwork, the preferential ‘mature’ comic book illustrations enhance the audio wholly and will be released alongside the EP with the PDF booklet of the comic being available via iBook for free.

The carefully chosen tracks include ‘City Of Dreams’, ‘Phoenix’, ‘Johnny Rocket Man’ and a collaborative effort with commercial dance phenomenon Example on ‘One Way Ticket’.

‘City Of Dreams’ will be available from March 11th
