]]> Get fresh to death with the premiere of Deaths new song “Saviour”.

Screen Shot 2015-05-26 at 14.43.41Berlin based collective Deaths are set to bury 2015 with the release of their forthcoming debut EP, the first taste of which comes in the form of the seductively sad “Saviour” (released on 27th May through Brighton based boutique label Love by Mistake). With its orchestrated flourishes and attention to finer details, the track instantly brings to mind the contemporary production stylings of Sohn and Jai Paul. Beautiful brass floats over grinding beats and warm synths instil “Saviour” with an edge of doom.

Lyrically the song is a cryptic take on self-esteem issues, or as Death’s main man Igor Bruso puts it “filtering your feelings and “resisting what you find wrong”. As on previous Deaths single “Lonewolves”, Bruso’s vocal is the real surprise, proving truly unique and unpretending. RIP all other new releases; we’ll be listening to “Saviour” on repeat in peace.
