How and when did you become a model?

I was partying in a club in L.A, at first I thought I was being hit on. At the time I just had a regular day job, so liked the idea of getting a chance to travel.

What were you doing before modelling?

Bagging groceries.

What do you like to do when you’re not modelling?

I do a lot of outdoor stuff back home in California. In winter I like snowboarding and in the summer I surf and ride my bike.

What type of music do you like?

I like a lot of different kinds: hip-hop, punk, classic rock. I grew up listening to Modest Mouse, they were a big influence on me when I was in my punk band. Music has definitely had a big influence on my life.

What’s your favourite film?

I’m really into films. I love Guy Ritchie films like Snatch and Lock Stock… I’m also a big fan of Quentin Tarantino.

What shows did you walk in last season?

Dior, Kris Van Assche and some more I can’t remember! I prefer the shows to editorial shoots as everyone knows each other from all the castings so it’s fun to hang out and there is so much energy.

Do you have a particular photographer you would like to work with?

Paolo Roversi was really cool, he’s really real and focused but is also there to make you relaxed and have a good time. His studio is really nice.

What’s your favourite item of clothing?

My boots and leather jacket.

What’s been your favourite fashion moment so far?

The Dior shows; the people are great so they are a lot of fun to do.

What would you like to pursue, career-wise, in the future?

My end goal is to become a filmmaker. I’m going to see how modelling goes then try to move into acting and filmmaking. I would like to spend some more time in New York and London, but California will always be my home.
