Former singer of London coldwave band Battant, writer, composer and producer Chloé Raunet has launched a new project – C.A.R. With a forthcoming album due for release this autumn, Idle Eyes premiered today on Wonderland is the first single released to the public. Having originally written the lyrics for Gesaffelstein, who turned them down in favour of another two tracks they had collaborated on, a new song was woven from the words.

Described by Chloé as “super tongue and cheek – an exercise in self-deprecation” the track sits on the fence between realism and dreams, featuring icy synths, heartbeat drums and peptic lyrics – you have to listen to this radical offering for the full experience.
