Luxury menswear designer Alex Mattsson has collaborated with CAT footwear to produce a cutting-edge Colorado boot (styled by none other than Wonderland’s very own Matthew Josephs), and it’s stomping into Machine A this weekend.

Having supplied footwear for Alex Mattsson’s AW13 and SS14 presentations and lookbooks, an actual partnership between CAT footwear and one of the UK fashion scene’s brightest sparks made sense. And of course, Mattsson’s interpretation of the Colorado boot makes it more iconic than ever.

With as much substance as style, the Alex Mattsson x CAT footwear Colorado boot makes the most of the brand’s technical features: a stacked sole, a 3M tongue and a unique strap locking system and mix of leathers from CAT’s expansive material libraries.

“CAT has an amazing track record,” said Mattson. “In terms of creative freedom, it’s a dream situation for a designer. It’s limitless in that you can do whatever you want. It’s really exciting to work for a company that can make your ideas happen.”
