Want to throw an LA cool girl shindig? We’ve got you. Melbourne-born, LA-based artist, producer and DJ Banoffee celebrates the release of her new EP by rounding up the tracks to spin at the bohemian bashes in the City of Angels.
Obviously, most things in life are objective. But occasional, things are just pure fact. Here’s one – Melbourne-born, LA-based artist, producer and DJ Banoffee is just… cool.
Why, you ask? Aside from her seamless style, glistening gaze and mischievous smile, she’s one of her resident city’s premium party starters. She’s toured as part of Charli xcx’s band and birthed the now-adored Loose parties, hosted in underground venues across LA, with guests including, but not limited to, HAIM, Billie Eilish and Hunter Schafer. Oh, and she’s a boxer.
After three years without releasing, the polymath is back with a bang with a sharp and significant new EP, “Muscles”. Thematically dense and musically expansive, it’s the most ambitious work she’s ever released, a sweep she pulls off seamlessly.
To celebrate the release, Banoffee has put together 10 tracks to spin at her Loose LA parties.

This song is so good, if I dare say so myself. Me and Ninajirachi made it back in 2024 and I finally got around to getting it out, It’s a jam.
Umblu and Diva Avari – “Fucking Bitch”
This is an old Estonian Funk track that I DJ at every set. It’s really like a dancefloor saviour. If things are feeling rough – or if you need a starting track to get everyone out of their Bs, this is the one. I’m actually like – should I even tell you about it? I want to gatekeep it, but it should be shared.
JINXERJINXERJINXER, Ayesha Erotica – “WTFRU”
I love everything Ayesha releases; it’s just always sweaty music. This new track is a make-out track for the shirtless gays, and that’s mainly what I’m looking for.
UNIIQU3, Swick, Spank Rock – “Papi”
I am a real sucker for a whisper in a dance track. Hot af.
Parris Goebel – “Girl is a Drug (intro)”
This song was released a lil bit ago, but I’m so confused why people aren’t going mental over the intro track. The vocal chops just bring so much energy, and when the beat finally hits, it’s like ecstasy. Somehow it has so much energy and still feels super hot, which is a hard balance. Kito is always producing tracks that I am in awe of, and this is the latest.
Prospa, Cloonee, Sybil – “Free Your Mind”
I love Prospa because it’s so 90s but with harder-hitting bass. They just have that gay sexy sound down, and it always feels like summer when you hear it.
Yo Speed – “No Breaks“
First got obsessed with these guys when a producer partner put me on; love the builds into hard drops they do without it ever feeling like the risers are going mental or cheesy. The vocal moments are super satisfying and hot.
Daine – “PQC”
One of my favourite tracks of the year I think its perfect pop reminiscent of “everything’s embarrassing” in the way it just slaps so hard the whole way. This song is totally something I’d listen to on the way to a set when I need to get back in my body and out of my head.
ALÔ – “Nonô“
So much good music comes out of Brazil, and this is my latest track to throw in the mix. I love the empty space and minimal percussion that is so precise in the way it just makes u dance.
Brutalismus3000 – No Friends in the Company
This song goes so hard and is such an anthem for anyone who’s in the creative industry in LA: “I’m kinda pissed I didn’t know I could murder LA type shit didn’t get me a single step further”. It’s iconic and something to scream at the after-hours.
