Known for her self-empowering, ruminative brand of experimental electro-pop, Neta Elias (aka TESHA) has sparked up an enigmatic sound, piecing together hours of self-taught vocals with experimental synth production. To date, the result is an outlandish string of trippy, dream-like instrumentals and now, with the release of “In The Fields of Malfunctioned Love”, TESHA begins to ramp up the anticipation for upcoming debut project, “Poetry for the Mentally ill”.
Decked out in velvet-laden melodies and with dissonant 90s-inspired guitar strings sitting against TESHA’s deep, haunting vocals, Elias’ latest track is a dreamy new entry to her inspired discography. It’s a sonic exploration that manifests a dreamscape where nostalgic rock influences combine with contemporary nostalgic pop. Elias’ expansive vocals float across the lush instrumental with a mesmerising quality that elegantly crafts a poignant and intimate narrative wherein every note, lyric deepens a sense of longing and introspection.

Speaking on her aims with the delivery of the video, TESHA shares “This video’s goal is to invite us to a meditation, in the dream world our thoughts become reality. Everything that comes through our mind, no matter how scary, how annoying, how sad or how beautiful, materialises. We must face it with bravery. But at least we get to spend some time with the people we love and lost.”
