They say good things come in threes – and DIOR BEAUTY is here to prove it with the unveiling of the Diorshow collection. Comprised of a trio of enhancing eye products, which include the Diorshow Maximizer 4D, the Diorshow Mono Couleur shadows and Diorshow Stylo liners, Creative and Image Director of Dior makeup, Peter Philips, has dreamed up the ultimate, no-nonsense beauty routine. Offering rippling shimmers and lashings of glitter in buildable and blendable shadows and a nourishing multi-use lash primer, the beauty visionary is confident that whether you’re going for glowy glam, or aiming to achieve an extravagant full-beat moment, elevation is in the eyes. Well, if they’ve had a once over with the Diorshow trio, that is.

Congratulations on the release of the Diorshow! Can you talk us through the collection?
PETER PHILIPS The great thing is that we’ve launched three products, so in a way this is a beauty routine. The Diorshow starts with curling your lashes and using the Diorshow Maximizer 4D. If I’m not mistaken it was first launched in 2010. I discovered it by coming to Dior and now I don’t do a look without it. It’s a fantastic primer for your lashes and over the years we’ve adapted the formula and added a fourth dimension. It’s a nourishing product that already had a lot of benefits, but we’ve been able to add lengthening as one of its claims – before it was 3D and now it is 4D. Women and men use the product because you can also use it overnight as a night mask. Then we have the 20 different shades of the Diorshow Mono Couleur shadows. The formula is fantastic – very beautiful and creamy. The shades are really luminous and they blend with the skin; it’s almost buttery. The colours are not intimidating but they’re very powerful. Our new Diorshow Stylo liner is fantastic, the formula is also updated. They’re almost the length of a crayon which makes it nice and balanced. In the back, you’ve got the sponge tip so you can blend out the liner and a sharpener on the other side. It’s long-lasting and completes your eyeshadow look. In total, we’ve got 14 shades.

Would you say there is one standout product in the Diorshow collection or do they all work in harmony?
PP Harmony is the perfect world. When you construct something you need a strong base and our Diorshow Maximizer 4D is a perfect base to build your makeup on top of.

Deva Cassel is the face of this campaign. What do you think has made her the perfect woman to spearhead it and debut the Diorshow eye routine?
PP She’s the ideal face because she’s very inspiring – she’s more like a muse. There’s a link with her mum [Monica Bellucci] as she used to be a face of Dior. It’s actually full circle that she’s done the campaign. She’s young and spontaneous and when she walks in the room it’s like a ray of sunlight [has entered]. She’s just happy to be there. She’s blooming and growing as an actress and you can see that she really enjoys every moment of what comes with it. Every time we shoot with her it’s just a day to look forward to.
