Right in the middle of summer, Jay Moussa-Mann has gifted fans with “Tangled”, a captivating guitar-driven love song that explores the all-consuming passion of a romantic relationship and poses the question, “Is this too good to be true?” Brimming with enigmatic guitar strings and soulful vocals, “Tangled” is a dazzling pop hit. Describing the essence and creative inspirations for the track, Jay shares, “I wanted to create a song that really captured Turkish summers for me,” says Jay. “I spent my childhood there, so it never felt like I was ‘going on holiday’ when summer arrived. It was part of my life, the burning sands, the cicadas, the people. It was who I was.”

Touching on how the burgeoning artist found the “right” guitar for the track, Jay explains “I’ve never been super confident on guitar, especially electric but I saw this as a challenge and so I kept playing around with Guitar Rig 6 and my Squier Stratocaster until I had these very simple riffs layered up and suddenly, it sounded like what I was hearing in my head. It sounded like the Mediterranean.”
