With the usual Jim brilliance and a profound message at its core, it’s a truly gorgeous, unmissable release.
AJ Tracey – “Bubble Bath”
UK favourite AJ Tracey continues to sharpen his sound and carve his own lane on his latest heater. “Bubble Bath” is cheek-laden and kaleidoscopic, UKG-tinged with AJ bringing a concoction of zippy flows and clever wordplay to the dynamic palette.
Rosie Lowe – “In My Head”
Genre-elusive and highly captivating singer-songwriter and producer Rosie Lowe is back with a fresh of stylistic fresh air. “In My Head” is sparse and striking sonically, driven by an almost Stone Roses-esque drum pattern, whilst Lowe’s vocal is simply too cool for school.
Ragz Originale ft. BAMBII – “ice”
Ugandan-born, UK-based singer-songwriter and producer Ragz Originale has that magic musical touch. He’s shared exciting news of forthcoming project, “Sweet Nothings”, in early August, and unveils a teaser single, “ice”. Typically suave, atmospheric and cohesive, Ragz croons charismatically atop the beat, also enlisting Toronto riser BAMBII for a serene feature.
Good Neighbours – “Daisies”
One of 2024’s biggest breakout acts in the UK, indie pop firecrackers Good Neighbours return with their third single, “Daisies”. Anthemic from start to finish, the group vocals, euphoric hook and intelligent song-structuring feels Coldplay inspired yet sharper and more visceral; a surefire hit for the mainstream and underground alike.
Burna Boy – “Higher”
Grammy-winner and global superstar Burna Boy is ageing like fine wine. His music continues to reach new heights, now broaden and deeper than before. “Higher”, his new one, is personal and motivation, an ode to his roots and a spotlight on his heritage.

Nia Smith is a hell of a talent. A panoply of the UK’s soul icons of the last 20 years, on “Personal” she dazzles once again. Fantastic songwriting marries with effortlessly endoscopic performance, all atop a cinematic and groove-laden instrumental palette. THE one to watch.
Kenny Allstar Ft. 5EB – “Hypocritical”
Continuing to build his reputation as the leading gatekeeper and lynch pin in UK rap, BBC RADIO 1 Rap Show host, Kenny Allstar, unleashes just his second release of the year, enlisting London’s most naturally intriguing rapper’s, 5EB, to deliver his innate lyricism atop a refreshing soundtrack packed with choppy percussive elements and synth notes for a track primed and readied for summer motives. This new single is further proof of Kenny’s ability to tap the hottest talent and combine them in unexpected new formats.
Welly – “Deere John”
Rising through the indie ranks in the UK space, hotly-tipped outfit Welly return with a gloriously chaotic new single. “Deere John” is a nifty addition to their increasingly impressive discography, somewhat idiosyncratic and Britpop-infused. It’s a whole lot of fun, whilst meticulous musicality lies beneath the maverick mentality.
Betty – “Mind Over Matter”
Rising talent Betty is making an impression on this debut EP she’s put together. “Mind Over Matter” is bold and bohemian, full of quotable lyrics and deep-seated emotional brevity. Musically nuanced, characterful and hearty, this feels like the start of a successful career for the newcomer.

Following his recent performance at Glastonbury 2024, on top of key features alongside the likes of Interplanetary Criminal for “Races” and DC for “The Curb” — Blanco follows up his latest single “Ponzi Scheme” with an official video shot during his trip to Brasil. The track sees Blanco lay down his trademark whip-smart lyricism atop skippy percussive elements and south American-induced strings, making for an intoxicating soundtrack produced by FS Green and Dave Nunes (Soulection). Continuing to expand his artistic influences and repertoire, Blanco dips into an array of international sonic textures, flexing his bars to remind us why he is heralded as one of the UK’s most exciting and experimental lyricists emanating from these shores right now.
