Twenty years after the original Mean Girls film became a cinema hit and every early 2000s teenager’s bible, this new musical version arrives in UK cinemas. Based on the Broadway show that was itself inspired by the original film, the adaptation shows stars Angourie Rice, Reneé Rapp, and Auliʻi Cravalho take the lead.

Directors Daniel Kaluuya and Kibwe Tavares are bringing us into a dystopian world with their new social thriller, centred around a government-condemned London housing estate known as “The Kitchen.” British rapper, songwriter, and actor Kano stars as a longtime resident trying to leave what has become a war zone between displaced residents and fascist riot police, until an orphaned teen, played by Jedaiah Bannerman, gives him a reason to stay.

Two industry favourites, director Yorgos Lanthimos and Emma Stone, join to create the wacky and wonderful remake of Alasdair Gray’s Frankenstein-inspired novel of the same name. Also starring Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe, this release is in line for major award acknowledgement.

The most recent movie from the renowned director Andrew Haigh, All of Us Strangers, is set to pull on heartstrings. Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal star as a couple whose relationship prompts Scott’s character to revisit his childhood home – where he discovers his dead parents still alive and completely the same as he remembers them from his childhood.

Firmly on radars since its early rumoured teasers, we truly can’t wait for Sean Durkin’s The Iron Claw to hit UK cinemas. Starring a stellar cast of Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson, and The Bear‘s Jeremy Allen White, it tells the story of the Von Erich family, who infamously made headlines in the 1980s world of wrestling.

Marisa Abela takes on the role of the Amy Winehouse in this biopic based on the late singer-songwriter’s life. The film focuses largely on the period she was recording the renowned album Back To Black, and explores her rollercoaster relationship with Blake Fielder-Civil.

On the most romantic day of the year, cinemas will be blessed with a musical biopic of the legendary Jamaican singer, musician and songwriter. Kingsley Ben-Adir stars as Bob Marley, alongside James Norton, Lashana Lynch, and Tosin Cole.

Following the astonishing first release, Dune is back for part two! The second chapter of Denis Villneuve’s incredible adaptation of the sci-fi novel is due to be even more captivating than the first, and with Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, Timothee Chalamet, and Zendeya all starring, we can’t wait.

Following his first feature in the Oscar-winning Parasite, Bong Joon-ho makes his next appearance in sci-fi film Mickey 17. Based on Edward Ashton’s novel of the same name, Robert Pattinson leads the cast as a “disposable employee” on a human expedition sent to colonise a distant ice world.

Rose Glass returns with her second feature after making moves in her debut film, Saint Maud, back in 2020. She now stars alongside Kristen Stewart and Katy O’Brian as a gym employee and bodybuilder caught up in a romance “fuelled by ego, desire and the American Dream.”

Following a SAG-AFTRA strike delay, Luca Guagdanino’s Challengers is finally set to grace our screens. Showcasing a love triangle on the tennis court, Mike Faist, Zendaya, and Josh O’Connor lead the starring roles.
