With the first headliner of the 2027 edition of everyone’s favourite London festival newly announced, we’re looking ahead to getting lost with a folk superstar.

Caption: After their biggest and best run of shows to date saw headline slots from the likes of Lorde and Tyler, the Creator have set the bar high for what’s to come next August in East London’s Victoria Park.

From our new initial taster, we’re in for a treat. The festival today announces the mercurial, critically adored Phoebe Bridgers as the first headliner to be confirmed. With her August-released third studio album, Lost Weekend, undoubtedly one of the most compelling of the year, she’s set for a huge run of festival appearances next summer.

Joining the 32-year-old on her trip to London on Friday 29th August 2027 are alt pop shapeshifter Caroline Polachek, revered cellist and singer-songwriter Kelsey Lu, contemporary R&B artist Danielle Ponder, and one of new-wave folk’s leading lights, jasmine.4.t, the latter whose debut album Bridgers helped bring to life.

Tickets will be available from 10am on Thursday 29th October here. Don’t sleep on it! Who else do you want to see headline next summer?
