I’ve been listening to this track on repeat when I’m cleaning my house recently. It’s very, very good music for cleaning your house.
Imogen Heap – “First Train Home”
Imogen Heap hugely influenced the way I thought about writing melodies on my new album, Diving for a Prize. When I listen to this song I’m taken back to being an eighth grader on a school bus looking out the window, wondering if my crush is thinking about me too.
Haim – “Relationships”
Obsessed with this song recently, especially the music video. These gals have the best style too!
Coldplay – “Warning Sign”
I was listening to this song so much when writing my album! This entire album is a masterpiece. I love how much “the truth is, I miss you” hits.
Mini Trees – “Push and Pull”
Lexi makes some of the most compelling, emotional and dynamic indie music out there I think! I’m a big fan of this song.
Broncho – “Think I Pass”
My fiancee and I have been playing this one in the car a lot the past month. I love how much chorus is on the guitar lead line. Shameless chorus inspires me!
Duran Duran – “The Chauffeur”
The freakiest song out there. The synth sounds on this song are fully insane and almost nonsensical and that’s why it’s an absolute banger.
Enya – “Amarantine”
It would not be a list of songs I’m listening to without an Enya track! Gorgeous, perfect track.
