Matilda Mann shares a photo diary that dives into the sonic and visual process behind her forthcoming debut album, Roxwell.
Renowned singer-songwriter Matilda Mann is gearing up to share her highly-anticipated debut album, Roxwell. Set to release on 28th February, the body of work will see the artist musing through reflections on self, on love and on adulthood, with her cascading and colourful sound set to be further nuanced, as shown on teaser cuts like “Just Because”, “Dazed & Confused” and now the latest, “Girls”.
Speaking on the upcoming album, Matilda comments, “This is my debut album. Every song feels like a part of me, and I’m so, so excited that it’s finally coming out. It explores various types of love, the experience of growing up and reflecting on the past, the struggle of not being able to give someone your all, getting stuck in the past, and accepting what you can’t change.”
