Searching, sprawling yet deeply intimate, the second full-length album from Columbian artist Ela Minus is a story of discovery that crams all sorts of sonic beauty and lyrical majesty in its lean 34 minute run time. Further exploring the unique ideas that emerged from her impressive 2020 debut album, acts of rebellion, on DÍA Minus finds space where others would hear congestion, and delivers light where others would see nothing but blackness.
Quietly electrifying and eruditely encompassing, the album combines ambience and cinema, depth and dreams, and plants pop-adjacent hooks at its core. Wonderland wanted to know more about the tracks that inspired the towering work, so asked Ela to round up the music she had On Repeat during the writing process.
