Globally renowned DJ and producer Sherelle is using her label and platform BEAUTIFUL to spotlight the intersection betweeen Black and queer culture and champion collectives and musical movements across Europe. In a unique one-night-only event that occurred last Wednesday (4th December), Sherelle hosted a fundraiser—supported by Relentless under their Freeform banner—at Peckham’s cult favourite watering hole, The Carpet Shop. The night boasted performances from some of the best Black artists in the underground who are pushing convention in the electronic space; from George Riley to Lil C, Loraine James to Emerald.
