Norwegian boundary-pusher Otha makes club music for those who stand in the smoking room all night. “Club 20”, her scintillating debut EP that boasts viral singles “I Hate You In The Morning” and “You’re The Best”, blends everything from techno to punk, is daringly innovative in its vocal production and fearless in its lyricism.
A striking introduction of dingy anthems and encompassing beat drops, Wonderland couldn’t help but want to know more about what inspired Otha to make the project, and so asked her—what was On Repeat?

Patti Smith – “Gloria: In Excelsis Deo”
I love Patti Smith’s album Horses! This song is so freeing, you never know what to expect.
Robyn & La Bagatelle Magique – “Love is Free”
Robyn is a big influence for me. This song just makes you wanna get up and dance!
Disclosure – “When A Fire Starts To Burn”
During my gym phase right after high school I listened to Disclosure on repeat. I recently played their music again realising how influenced I’ve been.
Lily Allen – “Everything’s Just Wonderful”
My aunt introduced me to Lily Allen when I was kid and I was instantly obsessed, and still am. Her lyricism is so good! Her album Alright, Still is on of my favourite albums of all time.
Lily Allen – “Knock ‘Em Out”
This song especially got me hooked, I’ve listened to it a million times. I just love the way she talks her way through it. At the time I had never heard anything quite like it.
Cobrah – “DIP N DRIP”
Ok, Cobrah is like the coolest. The frequency of the vocals are so captivating, and the production is just on another level.
Pearly Drops – “Call For Help”
I have a weak spot for soft indie rock, and I find the genre very inspiring. This Pearly Drops song just makes me happy :)
Mietze Conte – “nanana”
Everybody should listen to this song. I don’t know what it is, but I play it on rotation. I get very inspired by music when I’m walking and this is a great walking song.
Jim-E Stack, Empress of – “Note To Self”
It’s such a good song. I love how the vocals repeat the same line over and over again. It’s so uplifting in a mellow way.
