Hailing from the Haisla Nation in British Columbia, Canada, Snotty Nose Rez Kids—comprising Yung Trybez and Young D—have been blazing a distinctive and bold path since their explosive debut in 2016. Their sound, grounded in unparalleled lyrical skill and a uniquely natural storytelling ability, quickly established their reputation. The duo showcased their relentless work ethic with two back-to-back albums: “The Average Savage” in 2017 and their self-titled follow-up in 2018. By the time 2022’s “I’M GOOD, HBU?” dropped, it had only fuelled the flames of SNRK’s ever-growing artistry. Now, in the midst of a monumental North American tour—spanning 34 shows across cities like LA, Detroit, and Edmonton—SNRK release “Red Future”, a blistering anthem that solidifies their ascension in the hip-hop scene.
The opening track, “WELCOME TO MY WORLD”, kicks off the album with venomous, hard-hitting bars delivered over a daring, trap-infused beat. From here, the project builds momentum, as SNRK unleash their signature mix of uncompromising lyricism, protest anthems for the frontlines, and sharp, tongue-in-cheek humour. A standout track, “PEACHES”, features American rapper-songwriter Princess Nokia, where the trio’s undeniable synergy shines as they effortlessly trade bars over a vibrant, dynamic production.
