Sometimes when you attend a concert, you are struck with an overwhelming sense: ‘this is a moment,’ of career, and era, defining magnitude. The monumental outing at the O2 Arena on Saturday 21st September was one of such shows. Nigeria’s certified superstar Asake, who recently shared his critically-adorned, sprawling and progressive new album Lungu Boy, descended onto the cherished London venue to deliver one of the must-see performances of the year.
