One of the most anticipated pop albums of the year has finally landed, and Sabrina Carpenter once again exceeds expectations. Short n’ Sweet is the American singer-songwriter’s sixth studio album—her most personal body of work to date and one destined for the top of the charts. Produced by Jack Antonoff, the project follows her record-breaking successes “Espresso” and “Please, Please, Please,” which made her the first female artist to top the Billboard Global 200 and Global Ex-US charts simultaneously with two different songs. The music video for “Taste,” the album’s opening track, is also live today, featuring none other than Wednesday’s Jenna Ortega.

Grammy-winning producer and DJ Mura Masa shows himself as somewhat of a hedonist with this new record, Curve 1, a scintillating love letter to club culture and sounds. Released via his own imprint Pond Recordings, the LP rips up the Masa rulebook, pushing his style into sonic lows and highs alike. It’s a thrilling and thoroughly entertaining spectacle from one of the UK’s best.

LA native Wallice is amongst the most impressive rising singer-songwriter in the States. Her debut album, The Jester, is now announced to be shared in November, and we’ve received a statement double release to raise the anticipatory bar. “Heaven Has To Happen” is half sugar-sweet folk tune, half distortion-fuelled anthem, whereas “The Opener” is a sprawling, emotive and intimate track that is perhaps Wallice’s best release to date.

The avant garde’s next big thing, incredible trio Fcukers share the latest single from their highly anticipated forthcoming debut EP, “Baggy$$”, early next month. The track in question is “Tommy”, a meticulous dichotomy of claustrophobic textures and soaring, sensual vocals. It sounds like nothing else, and it’s just the beginning.

London based R&B riser Shaz has shared a gorgeous contemporary cut, “When It Comes To Us”. The production from ksxingh is rich and ambient, whilst Shaz’s vocal performance is cascading and sultry. A serene single worth giving a shot.

South London, British-Bengali artist Tara Lily returns to the soundsphere with new single “Breathe Now”, emerging as a jazzy-DnB infused single about getting out of the mind and into the body, inspired by Tara’s work with SHAKTI energy (the divine female lifeforce). Combining ethereal instrumentals with Tara’s hypnotic yet powerful lyricism, “Breathe Now” acts as a timely reminder of the British-Bengali’s innate skill in visceral storytelling and her unique ability to blend sonics and ambiences to spellbinding effect. This comes alongside the announcement of Tara’s highly-anticipated debut album, ‘Speak In The Dark’, an artistic representation of her emotional highs and lows with ADHD, often recorded in the nocturnal hours by wavey-improv-jams and inspired heavily by Tara’s travels through Asia and her journey of reconnecting to her roots in India. To celebrate the release of the album, Tara has also announced two shows; The Barbican, London (29th September) and Factory International, Manchester (2nd October).

LEGZDINA is pushing ethereal DnB on her latest dreamy single. Having recently collaborated with tech mainstay Sara Landry on “Pressure,” the rising talent returned with “Bitter Truth”, a soulful, romantic and cinematic number that boasts production from Slxm Sol and Piers from Rudimental.

Ahead of their inaugural Reading & Leeds set this weekend, swiftly rising duo Good Neighbours raise anticipation for their October-set eponymous debut EP with the release of another crowd-pleasing single. LA’s off-kilter and anthemic two-piece The Hellp are back with another slice of electroclash brilliance. “Caustic” is carefree yet carefully concocted, full of vibrant textures and dreamy palettes, and a very fun music video.

The project kickstarts with “Mortal”, one of the most powerful tracks from the EP, as Matilda reflects on love as a power and coming to terms with being in a relationship again.
