If you’ve ever listened to Len’s self-assured lyrics and charismatic, freestyle flow on standout tracks like “BEBE” and “IJUST”, then it comes with no surprise that provocation lies at the heart of his artistry. Or, as the South-London Rap riser cheekily brands it: “Sexiness!”
“There’s times where I’ll laugh knowing the next lyric and how crazy it is,” he says. “‘I make bad Gyal blush’ is my favourite line of [my new project] “COBALT: SOMUCHMoRE”. I’m confident and girls have told me they feel the aura.” A mix of Hip-Hop, Hyper-Rap, House, Trap and more, his rebellious sound is like a sonic wink and a (consensual) grab to the ass. “It’s important for me to make people feel how I feel – cheeky and braggadocious.” There’s no doubt spitting lyrics is Len’s love language, so has it enticed any weird advances? “Girls sending me pictures of their toes, I do have lyrics talking about toes but let’s just take a chill pill.”
