Armenia’s rapidly rising star, Rosa Linn, has once again captivated audiences with a new rendition of her hit track ‘Universe’. Following the success of a remix by Swedish producer Galantis, the Italian version featuring the artist Alfa, and the French version with Jeck earlier this month, Rosa Linn now presents her Hindi rendition, featuring the talented Indian singer and composer Denny.
Rosa Linn continues to foster a sense of universal togetherness, as she impressively nails the Hindi pronunciation in Universe (Mil Jaana Tu) She navigates the pronunciation with effortless ease, creating an intriguing contrast between the Hindi and English lyrics, over the opening picked guitar and warming strings. As ‘Universe’ unfolds, it transforms into a powerful track that allows Rosa Linn’s vocals to soar and shine.
Speaking on the process of singing her track in Hindi, Rosa Linn shares that, “Funny enough it was actually easier than I thought it would be,” she admits sheepishly. “I think we have some similar sounds in Armenian so that helped me a lot for sure. I cut the vocals in Italy, while I was on tour with my friend. I didn’t have a tutor, but I was sending Denny voice memos of every line, and we were done in an hour,” she adds.
Continuing to speak about the release, Rosa Linn states that, “‘Universe’ is my anthem for the daydreamer; it is a song about longing — longing for someone or something you can never have in this version of reality; imagining another life, other circumstances, creating a whole different world where all the stars align perfectly for you to get that one thing that’ll finally make you complete.”
With each new version of ‘Universe,’ Rosa Linn not only reaches new audiences but also deepens the connection with her existing fans. The forthcoming releases in Arabic and Spanish promise to continue this trend, further solidifying her position as a truly international artist.
