Now, Yanni presents “I Am,” a captivating preview of her debut album, “Version Of You,” slated for release later this year. This vulnerable and introspective track poignantly reflects on her winding path toward self-realization, exploring her youth and grappling with questions of identity, belonging, and sexuality while navigating religion and self-expression.

Yanni touches on the inspiration for the track, confiding, “When I left Israel, I was living like a nomad. I was lost because I hadn’t yet found art. I was looking for my passion, everything I did I took it to the extreme and I didn’t really know whether I liked men or women… Where I come from, questioning my religion and sexuality, you don’t really talk about bi-sexuality. This track is about where my two selves meet: the teenage me and the adult I am today.”
