DEADEYE – “TIRED”

Los Angeles-based musician, DeadEye, drops enigmatic, slow-burning new alternative pop single, “Tired”.

Originally from Colombia but raised in six different countries, DeadEye’s eclectic and diverse sound began to take shape at just nine years old when she started working on her craft with Garageband. Now, following the release of last year’s compelling single, “Addicted” DeadEye has unveiled the latest addition to her blooming and dynamic discography with “Tired”.

Anchored by slow, minimal percussion, “Tired” is an intimate and haunting exploration of leaving past relationships, formulating a poignant narrative that asks listeners to reflect. DeadEye’s breathy and emotive vocals sit atop sparse instrumentation, enhancing the sense of raw vulnerability. The minimalist approach to production allows DeadEye’s expansive vocal palette and sincere lyricism to shine, demanding the attention.

Giving an insight into the track’s narrative and themes, DeadEye explains, “This song represents what most people want to say in a one sided relationship but can’t. It’s the voice for those who have a hard time leaving and are just so emotionally exhausted at any time of relationship. Should it be your partner, your boss, or even a friend, this song says it all. Besides that, the instrumental is supposed to be like empowering yourself/ standing up for yourself.”
