CASPERAKI

We take a look at London-based startup, Casperaki, the first AI tool looking to support and enhance artists’ creativity.

Founded by Matthias Strasser, Casperaki is an AI tool designed to support artists and producers in the songwriting process, providing users with invaluable assistance in creating high-quality pop songs by directing sessions with lyrics and AI vocals. Unlike conventional AI platforms, Casperaki employs a distinctive hybrid algorithmic/AI-enhanced music production system that enables both beginners and experts to unlock their creative potential. In doing so, the platform is the perfect vehicle for agencies and labels to provide customisable, royalty-free tracks that span multiple genres.

Since its launch, Casperaki has made significant strides in puncturing the mainstream. At this year’s SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, the groundbreaking platform was presented through a comprehensive panel discussion and hands-on demonstrations to an enthusiastic audience. Casperaki even featured in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, partnering with San Marino on their entry. This collaboration utilized a unique process that combined public participation with AI-enhanced songwriting.

Casperaki continue their rise with a brand new interaction technology called ‘Pulse’, that aims to revolutionise fan interaction within the music industry. They create a digital space where fans can converse with AI-powered chatbots representing their favourite DJs and music acts. The platform enables users to delve into a variety of music-related conversations, from exploring industry insights to discovering upcoming tracks and events.

Set to launch later this year, ‘Pulse’ is another innovative move from Casperaki, putting fans of DJ music front and centre with some of the biggest artists on the planet. With its unique blend of technology and human creativity, Casperaki continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in the music industry.
