Merging elements of post-punk, ethereal wave, shoegaze, and 90s alternative, Silent Mass has introduced an enigmatic new sound. Frontwoman Ammo Bankoff’s haunting vocals weave through the multi-layered production, complemented by varied, methodical percussion that incorporates slow, deliberate beats, enhancing the band’s ethereal aura. As the song progresses, the guitars build in intensity, layering distortion and reverb to create a rich, textured soundscape. In its final moments, the track crescendos into a powerful, emotive climax,

Ammo, speaks on the track, explaining “’The Great Chaos’ finds beauty in the spiral of self-discovery. It’s a love song about mourning a version of your past self.” Marking the Summer Solstice, Silent Mass are set to drop their debut album, “The Great Chaos”, set to be released on June 21st.
