HAPPY LANDING – “LET ME OUT”

American folk rock five-piece, HAPPY LANDING, unveil infectious new guitar riff-laden track, “Let Me Out”.

Formed in Oxford, Mississipi, HAPPY LANDING – comprised of Matty Hendley (guitar/vocals), Keegan Christensen (keys/bass/vocals), Jacob Christensen (drums/vocals), Andrew Gardner (violin/mandolin/vocals) and Wilson Moyer (bass/guitar/vocals) – champion a unique blend of edgy, folk-infused rock. The group has been captivating audiences across the US with a series of frenetic live shows and fresh sound from the roots of indie rock, folk and punk. Now, after a string of support shows with notable bands like The Head and The Heart and Judah & the Lion, the band is set to announce themselves to the masses with their first full-length album, a debut at major festivals whilst embarking on their full-length tour. Now, the American five-piece unveil “Let Me Out”.

Decked out in infectious guitar riffs and a potent blend of endearing vocals, “Let Me Out” is a charming addition to the Happy Landing discography. Speaking on the track, the band explains, “”We moved to Nashville a few years ago, and anyone who lives in the city knows that it’s a very small town. That’s what Let Me Out is about — being unable to escape the memories of a relationship because everywhere you go, you’re reminded of them. The interstate is just one big circle around Nashville, so I thought it would be cool to create a scene where basically you’re stuck in this loop, going around and around and around, and all you want to do is escape this place because all the things you used to love about it are all blurring together into memories of this one person/relationship. Sometimes you need to distance yourself from the things that are hurting you until you’re ready to let yourself heal. Thanks to everyone for the support on this song, we love y’all (and we do still love Nashville)”.
