GRAFF GALAXIA + MORE STANDOUT JEWELLERY FROM PARIS

The high jewellery house goes cosmic with its new “otherworldly” collection, and we round up some of the other stand-out high jewellery pieces showcased in Paris.

In celebration of its new Galaxia high jewellery campaign, Graff has released an “otherworldly” collection featuring more than 1160 carats of exceptional diamonds and gemstones.

Inspired by the beauty of the night sky and set within an imagined cosmic green Graff galaxy, the campaign is imbued with a surrealist, dreamlike quality and presents a modern vision of femininity, fusing sensuality with strength.

Shot by renowned Swedish photographer Mikael Jansson and styled by former Vogue Paris editor in chief Emmanuelle Alt, the cinematic-style campaign shows Dutch model Rianne van Rompaey bedecked in a dazzling assortment of yellow and white diamonds, emeralds, rubies and sapphires.

In a high jewellery campaign first, cinematic footage of the aurora borealis and green celestial phenomena is displayed on a 180-degree high-definition LED video wall, using revolutionary visual effects technology.

Galaxia also signals the return of the iconic Graff Green Lady, first introduced in a print advertising campaign in the early 2000s. The colour green has been synonymous with the house since it was founded by Laurence Graff in London in 1960 and is evident across the brand, from advertising to imagery and boutique design and stationery.

Embodying the campaign’s green theme is this show-stopping asymmetrical emerald and diamond necklace featuring three incredibly rare four carat lozenge shape Colombian emeralds. First unveiled during haute couture week in Paris in January, it is combined with more than 23 carats of emeralds and 37 carats of diamonds and paired with matching earrings, bracelets and a 17-carat emerald cut Colombian emerald and diamond ring.
