READING… Hello, Beautiful by Ann Napolitano
After devouring author-on-the-rise Gabrielle Zevin’s Tomorrow, Tomorrow and Tomorrow, my cravings for another gut-punching novel made me reach for Ann Napolitano’s extraordinary Hello, Beautiful, whose musings on love, in all its forms, and humanity’s rocky landscape is equally addictive. Following the meticulously entangled web that is the five Padavano sisters’ unique and exhilarating lives, the beautifully written story follows them as they grow and change through time, tracking romances – some forbidden – family fall-outs, stolen kisses, unexpected feelings, even more unexpected losses, and ultimately what it means to live and how messy it truly is. Likened to a modern Little Women, reading it is like receiving a warm hug and a slap across the face at the same time. If you can put it down, I’ll give you a fiver.

WEARING… Gimaguas
With summer finally knocking tepidly on our door, it’s time to start thinking about the breezy, above-the-knee get-ups we’ll be donning sooner rather than later (we hope). For the summer of 24, look no further than twins Claudia and Sayana Durant’s Spanish brand Gimaguas, which will have even the laziest of dressers looking like the belle du jour this sunny season. Characterised by carefree silhouettes, craft-inspired details, and flashy, sunny-side up prints, think Bella Hadid meets Lily Rose-Depp with a jug of aperol straight out of Cádiz. See more.

WEARING… Phoria Jewellery
I can’t get enough of Phoria. The jewellery brand was launched last December by ex-Tiffany & Co. Designer Charlotte Asherson, and has the ultimate staples. I’ve been stacking my ears with their “Power Play” hoops and “Sugar Rush” huggies and will be running to the piercing shop this weekend so I can fit in more pairs. Discover more.

WEARING… Jimmy Fairly
Jimmy Fairly has been undoubtedly catching my eye in the last year, with its iconic “Lou” design constantly on my wish list. Continuing to honour the trend of hyper-oversized frames that have taken fashion by storm, Jimmy Fairly now presents the “Nax,” a timeless addition to their collection. With its rich brown tones, sleek double bridge, and gold finishes, it has made its way to the top of my wish list and into my basket! The “Nax” embodies the essence of the 70s and will easily become the quintessential accessory to perfectly complement your eclectic-grandpa spring ensembles. 20/20 vision? No stress. Grab some blue light glasses as your excuse to participate (I won’t tell!).

USING…Rare Beauty Liquid Blush
The Rare Beauty liquid blush, in shade “Worth,” is one of those hyped online cult products that the “clean girls” love, and sometimes you just have to indulge. What I love most is its multi-use. I always have a large assortment of lip products in my bag weighing me down, so I’m a sucker for one product that you can use for everything. You can have this in your pocket whenever you need a blush or lip top up — she’s versatile! Find it here.

READING…Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder
I have to admit, I have not yet finished this book, but I am HOOKED so far, and am forever trying to steal a moment during the rush of my commute to read another snippet. Nightbitch is an exploration of feminist rage, the female psyche, and primal instincts. If you’re in the mood for some feral reading in the morning, get it on your list!

FINDING…Prep on Vinted
My third and final item is a Vinted find, inspired by the Burberry tartan prints and big collar moments imprinted on me after the whirlwind of last London Fashion Week. I am always expanding my ever-growing second-hand collection of clothing (mostly sourced via Vinted) and this has to be my favourite pick of the month. I’m picturing Gossip Girl-esque chic, preppy ensembles — all I need now is a matching tartan maxi skirt (or mini!) to pair this with and I’m prepped for all types of English weather that’s about to surprise us this Spring!

READING… Ghosts by Dolly Alderton
Ghosts is perhaps Dolly Alderton’s least hyped book, and in some ways, I understand why. If you’re a single soul in your 20s or 30s, chances are you’ve experienced ghosting at least once in life, amidst the trials of dating app dynamics. I opened the first page interested in seeing how Dolly would, as beautifully as always, translate such a relatable feeling into her words. But I stayed for a slightly tangential journey, watching main character Nina try to navigate, understand, and find peace in her dad’s early-onset dementia. It’s sweet, raw, and so deeply heartfelt. But anyway, Dolly Alderton will always be a bit of me! Find out for yourself.

EYEING… KSENIASCHNAIDER x HVÓYA footwear collab
Canadian tux fans, unite! Ukraine-based fashion house HVÓYA has joined forces with the local powerhouse KSENIASCHNAIDER for their first collaboration. The joint drop was presented during Copenhagen Fashion Week and includes fur ballet flats and denim cowboy boots — the energy I’ll be channelling this Spring. Check them out!

LISTENING TO… Little Simz, Drop 7

Officially my album of the summer, Little Simz’s new project Drop 7 hasn’t left my AirPods since its release. It’s funky, clubby, and dancey — and I absolutely love seeing the British icon flexing her Portuguese skills in “Fever”.

WATCHING… Married at First Sight Australia
Anyone who knows me is aware that reality TV has me in a continuous chokehold. And this season, a show with a particular grip is Married at First Sight Australia. Granted, I am a little behind (note to self, never agree to watch a series episode by episode with someone else) but five episodes deep and I am well and truly hooked. The first dinner party of the season is pending in my next episode, which means the drama is going to be free-flow as the season’s couples sit down for what I’m sure will be an explosive union. BRB, off for a weekend of binge-watching.

WEARING… Ace & Tate x Ganni Sunglasses
A few weeks back it hit me that Spring was fast approaching and this meant one thing: it was time to add to my sunglasses rota. And when I heard that it-girl brand Ganni had joined forces with sunglasses brand Ace & Tate for a second collab, I knew I had to get my hands on a pair. You will see me donning a pair of tortoiseshell “Kaylas” for the foreseeable future! Get your own here.

WATCHING… Sexyy Red’s Rolling Loud Performance
If you haven’t seen Sexyy Red’s Rolling Loud performance of “Rich Baby Daddy” yet, I am here to bless your day. During her set, the rapper decided to try her hand at SZA’s verse on their beloved collab with Drake and let’s just say, you won’t be able to unhear it. The vocals were insane so shout out to Sexxy’s confidence on this one – Queen behaviour. Watch it here!

REFRESHING WITH… Buller & Rice
Buller & Rice, my go-to hair salon, just stepped up their game with the relaunch of their Newington Green spot. From the refreshing atmosphere to eco-friendly wine, it’s pure luxury. Whether you’re after a fresh bob, golden highlights, or expert advice, Buller & Rice is the place to go. You’ll walk out feeling absolutely fabulous, trust me!

SMELLING…Bleu bleu Nour’s “Canna Crush”
This is perhaps my favourite beauty launch I have been introduced to this year so far. From the message of the brand to the brains behind it, Bleu Nour’s new fragrance Canna Crush revolutionises the perfume world, infusing colours into captivating scents. Born from Parisian roots and enriched by Middle Eastern and North African influences, it’s more than a fragrance — it’s a sensory journey. With synesthesia-inspired magic, each spritz paints a vivid sensory canvas.

SHOPPING AT… Goodhood
If I ever find myself stepping out of West London and venturing into the vibrant lands of East London, Goodhood is always on my list of destinations to pop into. Goodhood is not just a store; it’s a lifestyle destination. Conscious, creative, and collaborative, it champions timeless products and future classics. Think Stussy, Haeckles, and Porter-Yoshida bags — everything a Londoner could ever really want! With a curation of covetable exclusives and culture-led creations, it celebrates small, independent makers alongside desirable brands.

WATCHING… Shifters
A funny, intoxicating and relatable reminder of the enduring power of memory and young love, Shifters is a fierce and different kind of romance, starring Tosin Cole and Heather Agyepong. Light-hearted but deep, it really catches love in its essence and the black British experience.

DREAMING ABOUT… Chopova Lowena shoes
I love everything Chopova Lowena does, but these might top the charts. Their first collection of shoes, the “Marta” comes as Mary Janes and ballerinas, and are sold exclusively online and at Dover Street Market. Top of my wishlist, for sure!

LISTENING TO… Bleachers by Bleachers

I’ve been obsessed with this album since it came out earlier this month, but I got to see the band live at O2 Kentish Town Forum this past week and it brought an entirely new dimension to my favourite songs. After a spell-binding performance of “Self Respect”, it sits firmly at the top of my list, with singles “Tiny Moves” and “Modern Girl” close behind.
