“There are two sides to every story,” Emma D’Arcy begins. “Watch both, and choose a side,” Tom Glynn-Carney continues. Yesterday, fans of Game of Thrones finally got to learn more about the second season of HBO’s behemoth House of the Dragon, set to premiere on June 16. With not one, but two trailers, we got a taste of what’s to come in the new chapter, witnessing the commencement of a civil war much anticipated since Season One, along with plenty of dragon riding, strategic scheming, and merciless soldiers.

On one side are the Blacks, led by Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen (D’Arcy) and her uncle-husband, Daemon (Matt Smith). On the other, the Greens, led by King Aegon II (Glynn-Carney) and his mother, Aliscent Hightower (Olivia Cooke). Season Two arrives one and a half years after the conclusion of the last of the 10 episodes of the critically acclaimed Game of Thrones prequel, and fans couldn’t be more excited to finally witness the long-awaited battle between these families. It’s time to place your bet: are you Team Greens or Team Blacks?
